World Petunia Days 2027

Welcome Message

Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce that the 23rd World Petunia Days will be held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in March 2027.

The congress will be organized by the Gardiner Lab at Utrecht University — a leading research group in petunia genetics and molecular biology.

Utrecht is a vibrant and historic university city located in the heart of the Netherlands, known for its beautiful canals, rich cultural heritage, and excellent accessibility by train from Schiphol Airport and other European cities.

As always, this will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and scientific insights among the petunia research community. We look forward to welcoming you and your teams to Utrecht!

Congress Venue

The congress will be held at Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Utrecht is centrally located in the Netherlands and is easily accessible:

• By train: Utrecht Centraal station is a major national hub, with direct connections from Schiphol Airport (25 min), Amsterdam (25 min), Rotterdam (40 min), and Eindhoven (45 min).
• By air: Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) is the nearest international airport, with frequent direct train service to Utrecht.
• By car: Utrecht is located at the crossroads of the major Dutch motorways A2, A12, A27, and A28.
