We are delighted to announce that the 23rd World Petunia Days will be held in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The congress will be hosted and organized by Jason Gardiner, Julian Verdonk, Francesca Quattrocchio and Ronald Koes.

About the Conference
Dear colleagues,
We are delighted to announce that the 23rd World Petunia Days will be held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in March 2027.
The congress will be hosted and organized by Jason Gardiner (Utrecht University), Julian Verdonk (Wageningen University & Research), Francesca Quattrocchio and Ronald Koes (University of Amsterdam).
Utrecht is a vibrant and historic university city located in the heart of the Netherlands, known for its beautiful canals, rich cultural heritage, and excellent accessibility by train from Schiphol Airport and other European cities.
As always, this will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and scientific insights among the petunia research community. We look forward to welcoming you and your teams to Utrecht!

Congress Venue
The congress will be held at Booth Hall M0.3, University Library, Utrecht Science Park, Heidelberglaan 3, 3584 CS Utrecht, The Netherlands.
How to get there:
- By train: Take a train to Utrecht Centraal (direct connections from Schiphol Airport — 25 min, Amsterdam — 25 min, Rotterdam — 40 min, Eindhoven — 45 min). From Utrecht Centraal, take the tram (direction Science Park/De Uithof) and get off at stop Padualaan (approx. 15 min). The University Library is a 2-minute walk from the tram stop.
- By air: Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) is the nearest international airport, with frequent direct train service to Utrecht Centraal (every 10 min, 25 min travel time).
- By car: From the A28 motorway, take exit Utrecht-De Uithof. Follow signs to Utrecht Science Park. Parking is available at P+R Science Park (Cambridgelaan). The University Library is a 5-minute walk from the parking area.
- On foot from tram stop: From Padualaan tram stop, walk east along Padualaan, the University Library (large modern building) is on your left. Enter via the main entrance and follow signs to Booth Hall M0.3 on the ground floor.
